Allied Arts Council
is now accepting student registration for Artscape 2008.
The dates are August 4 - 8 at Potter Hall on the campus
of MWSU. The week-long summer creative arts camp for
students entering grades 3 through 10 is co-sponsored by
the Allied Arts Council and Missouri Western State
University Departments of Art and Music.
Students
may attend an all-day session, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
and take six classes or attend a half-day session,
either 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. or 12:15 p.m. to 3:30
p.m., and take three classes. Some classes require a
materials fee. Registration fee includes a t-shirt.
All students
attend a daily "Art Talk" session with
performances and demonstrations by local artists.
