The Runcie Club, founded in 1894, promotes interest in the arts, culture and literature.  The club meets from October through April and is open to women in the St. Joseph area by invitation.  The Runcie Memorial committee studies and prepares a slate of philanthropic contributions to arts and museums throughout the area.  The Constance Fauntleroy Runcie scholarship is given to a Missouri Western student and information about the scholarship and membership in the organization may be obtained by calling Runcie Club President Merry Burtner at 816-233-9341.
