CALL FOR VISUAL ARTISTS

16TH ANNUAL ART IN THE PARK VISUAL ART SHOW AND SALE

Art in the Park now in its 16th year, features fine art in a variety of media and of artistic ex­pression is held annually the 2nd weekend in June at Civic Center Park in Downtown Historic  St Joseph, Mo.The fine art area is nestled among shade trees housing 20 fine artists under a large pole tent with sufficient space along a shady walkway for 30 additional fine artists who have their own canopy and setup


MEDIA
: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Graphics and Drawings, Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography, Jewelry, Stained Glass, Porcelain, Metal, Computer/Digital art, and wood are ac­ceptable media. All work must be conceived, designed and executed by the exhibiting artists. We will not accept work made from kits or molds, mass produced items or work done in a classroom or production studio

WHEN:  June 12 and 13. 
Show Hours: 
Friday:  June 12:  1-6pm, (1-4pm Patron Preview);
Sat:  June 13:  10am-6pm

Best of Show:  $300.00
2nd Place $250.00 
3rd Place $150.00 
Four Honorable Mentions:  $75.00 each. 

2015 Senior Scholarship:
1st Place:  $500.00.

2nd & 3rd Place:  Honorable Mention Ribbons
Judging begins at 10:00am on June 13, 2015
