The St. Joseph Community Chorus and the combined choirs of Ashland United Methodist, Huffman Memorial United Methodist, Frederick Boulevard Baptist, McCarthy Baptist, and Wyatt Park Baptist Churches join to present a traditional Christmas favorite and one of the most loved works of all time.

The Chorus presents one of St. Joseph's most popular holiday events in the beautiful Cathedral of st. Joseph. As a treat for the younger community and the young-at-heart, we are pleased to welcome to St. Joseph the internationally acclaimed Paul Mesner Puppets of Kansas City. Each year they perform fro more than 100,000 children and adults and will bring a fresh, new look to our Chamber Choir presentation of Amahl and the Night Visitors. Add traditional songs of the season and this is sure to be a concert that the entire family will enjoy.

Missouri Western State University is an integral part of the St. Joseph community, and we are pleased that the MWSU Concert Chorale will be joining us for this concert. The program will feature the music of Randal Thompson (1899-1984), one of America's leading composers of choral music and a pioneer in choral music education.
