17th Street Community of Christ
The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS), now known as the Community of Christ, organized a local branch in 1870, which worshipped at the Court House and several halls until the present Romanesque style building on North 17th Street near Faraon was completed in 1890. In 1977, the local firm of Temple Organ Co. built and installed a 7 rank organ.
